International Migration Strategy

With so much media attention on the global migration crisis it was a delight to Chair the international programme on strategic migration management last week. Government and Civil Society delegates from all over the world enjoyed discussing different policy approaches and testing them against the very lively international context. With Australia’s Christmas Island “501”s and Sweden’s introduction of border checks both front page news it was fascinating to work on case studies that had real immediacy.
